SSMBA – Supporting Families of Multiples in Southern Sydney

The Southern Sydney Multiple Birth Association (SSMBA) is a warm, welcoming community run by parents of multiples, for parents of multiples. As volunteers who have walked this unique path ourselves, we understand both the joys and the challenges of raising twins, triplets, or more.

Our community spans a wide area of Southern Sydney, including the Shire, St George, Bankstown, Liverpool, Macarthur, and Wollondilly regions.

We’re here to support families from pregnancy through to school years, offering a wide range of services and connection points, such as:

• A private, members-only Facebook group where you can share stories, ask for advice, and connect with others who truly understand.

• Monthly newsletters filled with helpful tips, relevant articles, and member updates.

• Access to exclusive member discounts.

• Expectant parent information sessions to help you prepare for life with multiples.

• Practical support services including feeding support, free equipment hire, and a buddy program to connect you with experienced parents.

• Regular playdates across our regions for kids to connect—and parents too!

• Social nights out for mums and dads to unwind and recharge.

• A fun-filled annual Christmas Party for the whole family.
